Matt Herrick is the executive vice president and chief impact officer at the International Dairy Foods Association, where he leads strategic efforts in advocacy, communications, and public affairs. His work focuses on expanding access to American-made dairy nutrition and strengthening food and nutritional security through public-private collaboration.

Matt previously served in the administrations of President Obama and President Biden, leading communications for USDA and USAID. He has also held senior roles at global organizations including the Rockefeller Foundation and Oxfam America, advancing efforts in food systems, advocacy, and development.
